Can anyone give me informaion about the Wellston/Jackson area? Any and all information is appreciated. There is a job open there and I am thinking of taking it. It appears to be a very reasonable area to live. I am married with a 16 month old child. The main question would it be a great place to raise a family and live the rest of my life there?
Thank you

I moved to the Jackson, Oh area in March of 2006 and have lived here since. I married a wonderful woman who was borne and raised in Jackson. It is a very nice place to live! There are many Amish who live here among us also. You can see them pretty much everywhere so you have to like the Amish because you’ll see their horses tied to lamp posts at the local Walmart among other local businesses through out Jackson! Kind of cool I think! If you haven't been here you should go to the city of Jackson for a visit but stay for a weekend or so to see for yourself. I’ve lived in the Central Florida area in a very nice area, I’ve lived in Eastern Ky, lived in Columbus, Oh where I was borne and lived my child hood in Johnstown, Oh and I have to say that Jackson county, Oh is the nicest place I’ve ever lived and I do expect to live out the rest of my life here! I’m 50 now and hope that I have several more years to live now that I’ve found what I consider the best place in the state and then some. I hope this helps you!
BTW they have pretty nice weather here also since we’re in the southern part of Ohio. Check Jackson out on Google Earth or Google maps. You can see photos, get local information and really get a good idea of the area and the people.... Did I mention the Apple Festivle???
