The article stated that over 30,000 jobs moved out of the Cleveland CBD between 98-04 ... what companies were these? And that number should be a little higher with National City now being acquired by PNC.

cinci-rise you are right about that.. and what about all the loss since the 70's.?. but even after all the bad this city has endured for decades, its good to know we still stand tall in regards to the article... imo i think cleveland is transforming itself towards a continued medical mecca, along with high tech, biomedical and science fields leading the way.

A lot of Cities have the bed bug problem, its a nationwide issue. I just thought since the City of Cincinnati had a program paid for with City funds to alert the public that bed bugs were spoken more of here than other areas. And now that the City is not funiding the program, people are talking about it again. Bed bugs are found more in northern states but if you Google bed bugs you will find that it is not just Cleveland and Cincy dealing with this issue.

Minnesota edges out Ohio in biomedical start-up investment - Medical - cleveland.com - Cleveland.com here is another area for future growth (and an example of how cleveland is transforming itself) that cleveland is head and shoulders above cinci and the rest of the state.

I don't know why I get caught up in these little "battles" ...

The truth is, I love Cleveland and I love Cincinnati. I love gritty old cities and I love cool neighborhoods, and both cities have a lot of them. Hell, you know what .... I don't give a damn about OH's brain drain problem or its current issues ... I freakin LOVE this state. I love it. I love living here and I love living near other large cities.
