At what point is this thread going to be locked? Someone is obviously having an odd form of 'fun'. Users with one post or barely more contributing.

Do you have a connection to the facility? I started this group. People still contact me with stories.

Some of the patients I knew there were..Charles Gibbs, Amos Rathburn, John Bowens plus many others. I knew about the Strong Wards and the infamous Ward21. If anyone has any information that they would like to share with me I would love to talk about.
I recently received a photo of the softball team. Are you in it? Recognize anyone?

I have some very early photos of patients during this time period though it would be a slim chance to say for sure the individuals featured.

I have some photos related to the Charles Gibbs case. What was he like?

Default Chauncey Miller - Lima State Hospital

It appears Miller became an upstanding citizen: married, worked a good job, retired, and died in 1984.

I am unable to get a copy of the court records. I've been told that if the case involves mental issues/insanity, the records are sealed for 100 years. Is there other ways to get Miller's records, court case or incarceration time?

Thanks in advance for sharing information.
I have photos of Chauncey Miller. What info have you gathered?

I'd love to see your photos. I am the author of this thread and have amassed a large collection of material from here. Are you still in the Ohio area? Perhaps we can go out for a coffee soon. Thank you!
