can anyone tell me more about this town? hows the crime? does it have a homeschooling org? close to big towns? shopping? grocery stores? good place to raise kids?

From what I know it is just across the river (Ohio) from Huntington, WVA, which is the second largest city in WVA. Ashland, wich is also a largish town, is nearby in Kentucky. So you are in a metroplitan area of sorts.

There is a mall and a nice little downtown shopping area in Huntignton. Dont know what's in Chesapeake.
