Good to see there's still some major office construction somewhere. Its kind of petered out in the Western states for the time being. Sacramento had about three highrises under construction when the bubble burst in '08. They're completed now and look good, but there's nothing else on the immediate horizon.

In Chicago, in 2008, construction halted early for the massive 150 story, 2000 ft. tall Sprire Tower. With only the foundation completed, it's now just a big, neat hole in the ground.

I was downtown a couple of nights ago and drove by the site. They are working around the clock on it. It was really cool looking with the lights on inside, where they already have the glass on the building, and all the workers moving around inside.

Not sure what floor. Prob around 29th-30th right now. This is an older pic but it shows the myriad garden facelift/project 180. The crystal tube is looking way better. I will post newer pics later.
The old panels^^^ seen on the bottom of the tube were becoming hideous. It should be complete soon.
