Sounds like you, the OP, and I need to hit some of these spots and make some women feel uncomfortable.

I see mostly chubby women in the east side Stillwater Wal-Mart. Maybe I need to try the west side Wal-Mart.

Wow, didn't know WalMart had 2 spots in Stillwater now...makes me sad. Back to the original ? though, in Stillwater, is the "weed" still there, or Desperados?? Really dating myself here..

Yes, Desperados really goes back into time to the 1980s when that establishment had to recognize that public taste had changed from disco to country. As the years went by it changed its name a time or two, like to the Northern Limits, until finally closing several years ago. Tumbleweed is still open.

Son. Unless you are deranged and want to raise a bunch of kids, avoid women. They are more trouble than they are worth unless you can find one who got rich by divorcing a previous husband who had money.

Save your money and take periodic trips to Nevada or Western Europe. It will be cheaper and less of a hassle.

Also forgot to mention, OKC is the single mother capital of America, so if you have problems with women that have a little extra baggage, well...

Default Professional After Hours Places_OKC

I'm an Easterner from the Philadelphia area and just moved here to OKC, it's real damn hot here! Any suggestions for bar/restaurant type places that cater to professional crowds in OKC. I'm not talking about loud and crowded nightclubs like Cowboys off Meridian but places not loud, easy to chat, professional type folks comming in for a drink after work, very easy to mingle? Some of these places could be weekend gathering places for folks on Friday and Saturday nights, places in town or out of OKC.

I had my best suucess with women with these type places in Philly along with business casual charity events such as LLS Bridesmaids Ball.

Hey tonyd,

I've already posted an answer to this thread, but for your question in particular I would recommend Republic. Its pretty much the new "hot place" in town for professionals. Lots of hotties that work at Chesapeake swarm this place. Also, if you are in downtown try out Mickey Mantles. I'm posting a link for both at the bottom of the post.

If you are looking for places to go I would def. grab a copy of the Oklahoma Gazette. They seem to always have a list of good happy hours around town.

Good luck!
