My wife and I will be moving cross-country in a week, and will be staying in Midwest City the 3rd night. We LOVE breakfast restaurants, and would like to eat at a local diner (or breakfast place that you would recommend). What do you consider to be the best? Ok, locals, GO!

Don's Alley which is right next door in Del City (west) is an institution in the OKC area. It's been there almost 60 years under the same owner. It's on 29th street (north side of the road) between Sooner and Sunnylane in a shopping center. They are also famous for pies.

Beverly's in OKC is excellent and 24-hr, if you'll be here in the middle of the night!

In traditional breakfast hours, I LOVE Nic's Grill, and it's a perfect hole-in-the-wall diner type but gets pretty crowded pretty quickly. For trendy breakfast, check out Kitchen 324 Downtown.

Thanks Andrew.. we're going to be driving during the day. Looking for some local flavor probably around 6:00am or so. I'll check out your suggestions as well!
