Then again, I've heard people say the same things about Tulsa.

Probably more transplant friendly yes, but, also in certain circles can be snobbish. You hear that a lot. Both from a money perspective or a hipster perspective. This town is awash both in people that have too much money, and with hipsters.

I think anywhere there will be cliques that are closed to many new people. Snobbery is everywhere to some degree, whether in Oklahoma or Timbuktu.

Are you kidding? Folks from Timbuktu are way more snobbish than OKC folks. Timbuktu is famous for it, they call it "Timbuktu Attitude"

LOL... I've not been there, but several years ago a good friend had a phone call from there when her daughter was seeing the world. She thought it would be funny for her mom to get a call from Timbuktu.

Perhaps ironic, but I am so thankful it was not difficult escaping from a horrible mistake and since I don't have sense enough to make good choices for a life partner, I've remained single and happy.

Hmm... if that's the direction I should have gone, I missed the boat and it's too late now.
