Ive lived in six states. All six had people who sounded racist around me. I did not see more or less in Oklahoma than other states like NJ and Pa or Texas. Sure there are racists every where. But no place lve lived in was dominated by them at least from my experience. I mean seen or heard with my own eyes and ears,

In my way-to-short experience there, Okies are kind humble folks and really quality genuine people, but they don't put up with people trying to change them like the liberal state you have previously lived in (NYC).you to make your life better. In other words, CA is the extreme opposite than most any other state in the USA. CA is the perfect place for immigrants who really don't want to assimilate and for those who have no respect for the gift of legal immigration to our great country. But that's another thread.
