Well how about this?
Oklahoma City named a top travel destination by Money | News OK
It would appear that even if OKC punches below it's weight.................Tickets to the boxing match are cheap.

Money reporter Kerri Anne Renzulli worked with Megan Leonhardt to collect, organize and analyze more than 32,000 data points from 350 cities across the country before writing the article. Every state had multiple cities analyzed, and of the 350 examined, Oklahoma City finished ninth overall.
These are the people who did the study that led to OKC finishing #9 in said study. Why don't you email them and tell them that their study was an "hilarious claim"?

I think that both the homers and the haters got it wrong on this survey , poll , article. This ranking was strictly on a curve ( design to put Oklahoma City on equal footing with the bigger larger world-class cities) in the United States of America.
Attractions . amenities and (cost of living ) are all placed into a formula that Makes Oklahoma City Oklahoma very attractive , it doesn't cost "a lot of money to see major big city attractions in Oklahoma City Oklahoma ".
I have visited most of the 50 states in the United States of America and virtually all of the big cities and would have Place Oklahoma City higher than number (9) in the survey.
You can get a hotel in Oklahoma City for the same price as parking to a San Francisco California Giant Baseball Game.

3.2% beer isn't supposed to last much longer. Change as it relates to alcohol has come slow. This is because Oklahoma in 1907 was required to enter the union as a dry state, and it has been trying to get over it ever since. So they made their list based on data points? They means they never actually visited OKC. I have never met anyone that told the family "We are going to OKC for vacation!" Never, ever met anyone that even thought about it.
