Hi Great Texans and Houston folks,

I’ve got job offer, so next month i’m planning to move to Houston. The job is near the airport, in Sam Houston parkway area.
Would like to get notes, where to move. Options for now is Spring or Humble, but I don’t know how the safe are these neighborhoods. The plan lease and apartment for a year. Have a kid but she isnot at her school age yet, so for now the best school district is not main option.

Thanks for your thoughts.
About budget i can handle the monthly rate around 1-1.2k for rent. The main is easy access to groceries and safety.

You posted in the Oklahoma (City) forum. Might want to ask an admin to move your thread to the appropriate forum.

Jamayev, you may have posted in Houston forums by now. Look in Magnolia, The Woodlands, Conroe or Kingwood for safe areas and good schools, some of the areas in Klein ISD are still nice safe neighborhoods, but not Spring or Humble. Those two areas have gone downhill over the past twenty years. Other nice areas in Houston area are not in good commuting distance for an airport job
