I have, in 2000-2002 i shop at Netgrocier.com had no problems with them.
enjoy it a lot. I hated going to the stores in Sacramento, the people.. don't get me started on the people here.

But anyways i had fun, cost about $15.00 for 3 large boxes to come to California from New Jersey and took only 3 days fedex.

Why would anyone want to do that? You miss out on rubbing elbows and shoulders with the common folk at WalMart if you shop on line...

The fun of shopping at the grocery store!

Some people are homebound by illness or age, or can't drive for other reasons, so having UPS bring your groceries to your door is a good option.

I use Peapod once in awhile - it's from Stop & Shop and GIANT grocery chains, and they do a pretty good job.

This is the kind of service that is great for large shopping trips, but inefficient for small ones. It's also great if you have a roommate, since that splits the delivery charge in half.

A lot of these services will give you the "First Order Free Delivery" deal, so don't be afraid to ask for that.

This may not be what you're looking for but I order online from the Oklahoma Food Co-op. They only deliver once a month but in OKC they will deliver to your door for a small fee. If you are homebound, they will deliver for free.

Wow, this is kind of interesting. I love to cook but I do HATE going to the grocery store. For instance, we have a Super Walmart out here, and I know it's cheaper, but I gladly pay a little more NOT to go there. What a crowded nightmare, I don't know how people think straight shopping in ailes with 20 carts blocking your way! Yikes! My nerves just can't take it.

While we're on the subject, does anyone know if there are any SALVAGE type grocery stores in Oklahoma? They had several of these when I lived in North Carolina and I frequented them often and saved a TON of money.

They often carry discontinued items, or slightly dented or crushed packages that don't affect the contents. It would seem these days with the cost of food, places like this would do a brisk business. I haven't found one in Montana and miss finding those type of bargains on groceries. We do have a Schwanns, which delivers frozen food and you can order things online, but it's pretty pricey.

I think there is one called Big Giant Warehouse that sells salvage grocery. I like the Oklahoma Food Coop, but they don't deliver near us. I have tried Schwan's, but didn't really like the way the food tasted.

Where is the Big Giant Warehouse located? I agree with you on the Schwan's Peggy, not exactly "home cooking" and not exactly healthful either.
