Last time I went through OKC, I will never forget the anti-abortion billboards smearing Wichita/Kansas along I-35. It's one heck of a rivalry between OKC and Wichita and OK and KS!

We like Wichita and We like Kansas. We border six states and we like five of them.

I'm a single male, 32. What's the dating scene like? I'm not country, don't like to fish, don't like the music, and go to church for funerals only. I'm down for camping and hiking, and love craft beer. Could I fit in? Are there a lot of single women without kids my age?

Is okc a fair share of transplants?

Do you folks not sell beer on Sunday, and is the beer only 3.2%?

What is OKC known for? Do you have a special dish, or BBQ or something. What do the locals do?

Any help is appreciated.
Yep, beer on sunday and above 3.2%

Plenty of transplants especially in the city core

As far as food goes you can literally get food from any country in the world and OKC has a great Asian district with a giant asian market called Super cao nguyen

Not that this matters but it may, Oklahoma has the most liberal medical cannabis laws in the nation

You might want to update the craft breweries... Winnicki isn't available for visits (websites and Facebook haven't posted in over two years) and Huebert's and Mustang have been closed a while; Mustang was where Brewers' Union is now.

Also, a brand new craft brewery opened this past week, Fair Weather Friend, near Stonecloud. Haven't been there (yet), looks interesting.

I have never lived in OKC or Tulsa. Live in rural Oklahoma and nice and safe. But I have lived in Chicago, SF, LA and Seattle as well as Portland. Chicago was by far the worst. Parking and traffic were horrible and way too cold too much of the year. Went to Walmart in Chicago and someone broke the window of my car and heard endless stories about crime everywhere. Other than that every place is what you make of it. Usually its the person not the city that needs improvement. It took me a while but small towns are the ticket for me. I get that most people don't know how to make a living in a small town. Took me a while to figure it out. But it can be done.

Regarding OKC. Just north and slightly west of downtown reminds me of a neighborhood on the west coast. Not what one would expect in Oklahoma.

Northwest OKC has a bunch of interesting and different neighborhoods, such as Asian District, Paseo, Plaza District, Oklahoma City University, NW 23rd and N. Classen where the Gold Dome is, Heritage Hills, and the cemetery for starters.

Was there yesterday, nice venue, outside area comparable to what one might find in the DFW Metroplex and Austin. Limited selection but they have a pizza oven on-site as well, and it's VERY dog-friendly.
