Hello,
My mother is 80 years old. She has a home in Bethany; however, she needs a good carpenter/ handyman. Her bathroom & front porch need handicap assessable devices installed.
Thank you for your time

Hi MIA.
I've been remodeling bathrooms and giving handicap access for over 28 years...

Check out our site at: www.remodelingcreations.com Complete Bathroom Remodeling in oklahoma , Whole House Remodeling
then go to handicap access page...
Complete Handicap Bathrooms and Roll-In shower stalls are the specialty.
Hope this helps.
Dave

What you need to know before you hire anyone are FDA handicap laws. You can't add a roll in shower for a wheel chair unless there is ample room to turn a chair acound.- this is close to a 10x10 room. All kinds of special stuff to needed in this scenario. My sisterinlaw who does have the shower said it cost about $10k extra to add the shower to the new house and it took a plumber to do it correctly. The non-slip tile and all the other stuff was extra. There are also bath wheelchairs with the removable potty for the incontent patient to consider too.

Do be careful that you get what you need. Your state may have a list of qualified installers and builders. Do check. You can also check with the local plumbers union, or even your local plumber first before you hire. Get bids. It is easy or as small as it seems.
