I currently live in NC and am trying to relocate to Oklahoma City. I've been fascinated with going out west for a long time now. OK has a lot of authentic native American culture.
My problem is since I was laid off in the past, I was very late paying bills. As a result of that, I now have bad credit. I have several job opportunities and need a place by June 5th. Any suggestions?

I would look into renting from an individual rather than an apartment complex. If you show them you have the money to make ends meet and will be gainfully employed that should be enough for them.

Also, in these times of economic hardship, even apartment complexes may have loosed their standards.

Good luck to you!

PS. It sure appears that there are a lot of North Carolinians coming to Oklahoma lately, which is not a bad thing. I LIKE North Carolina.
