I totally think your kiddos will be just fine. With all the native american people and caucasian people in this state, biracial children have been around here a long time (my family is made up that way going back to my great grandmother who was half Cherokee and half Caucasian), so I think the practice is a little more accepted here. If you get into some of the more rural isolated areas, you might encounter a few bad apples, but overall they should do great in Oklahoma

I'm not stating any facts, I'm only sharing my opinion based on my personal experience in Oklahoma so please form your own opinion. In my OPINION and PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, Oklahoma City was pretty racist particularly with interracial relationships between Blacks and Whites. In my experience, Oklahomans were pretty racist to Native Americans. Much like the South puts down it's large Black population, I felt Oklahomans including mixed Native Americans did the same to Native Americans because they identified with White people and didn't really consider themselves "Indian" because they were White in appearance. Again, this is just my opinion and experience, I'm not stating any facts nor do I intend to state any facts. The OP asked a question and wanted to know how her children will fare in Oklahoma so I have a right to share my opinion and experience. I'm not spreading misinformation since this is my opinion and experience which is subjective. I respect the opinion of others even if theirs disagrees with my own. We can respectfully agree to disagree. I'm a California native who lives in Arizona. I lived in OKC for a few years and I gain nothing by speaking positively or negatively of Oklahoma. I feel the OP is entitled to a multitude of opinions.
