If all goes well I will be moving to okc for a civilian job at Tinker. My wife and I are young 20's and would like to find an area that is safe and yet close to things to do. I have read through all lot of the posts here and think Moore might be the best choice for us. Is there anything to do in moore and how far is it to good entertainment. Any other thoughts to locations to move are welcome. Thanks

Also we will be looking to rent and have a 100 lb dog. We would be looking for
a townhome or duplex. Who rents these in the area.

Moore is a good average suburb. Recently a lot of new shopping areas have been built along I-35 in Moore, standard chains like Kohl's, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc. For entertainment, the Warren Theater is a really nice movie theater that was recently built. The only reason I have ever exited I-35 in Moore has been to go to the Warren Theater. It is mostly a bedroom community. However, with access to I-35 it is easy to get to Oklahoma City, which obviously has a lot of entertainment options, and Norman, which is a college town with a good entertainment scene.
