Seriously looking to move to Ardmore in the future. I work for a company that has a distribution Center There so finding work shouldn't be a problem. Any info would help.

Good schools, Lake Murray, easy drive to both Dallas and OKC, McGeehee's just down the road, beautiful countryside, nice town, great Mexican restaurant downtown..........what's not to like?

Yeah, I'm always happy when someone can name a good Oklahoma town to ask about, and not like some highly remote place in the panhandle or in the southeast corner of the state.

I don't think there are any pro's to Ardmore. If you choose there, I'd advise you to live in Plainview or Dickson; both are suburbs of Ardmore with their own schools. Ardmore has turned into a dirty town filled with gangs.

I like Ardmore. I have an aunt who lives there. If I were to move back to Oklahoma and move to a smaller city, ardmore would top my list.

I like Ardmore too. I haven't spent much time there in a long time so I don't know about the gang activity. I lived east of Ardmore as a teenager. I graduated from Dickson. My father in law has a street named after him in Ardmore. Hess Boulevard. I probably never would have moved from Ardmore if the job situation would have been better back in the day.

Just wanted to clear something up here that proudvoterofObama said. Plainview is not a suburb of Ardmore. Plainview is a school, not a city, not a town, and not a suburb. Its just a school that sits on top of a hill in the city of Ardmore.
