I submitted these photo's to Deadmalls.com for the Heritage Park Mall section about 4 months ago but they never put them up. The section has no photos currently.

I had to take them all from the outside due to the fact it is now CLOSED.

I find the official HPM website's motto "Heritage Park Mall is Midwest City s Hottest Place to Shop!" lol funny. Especially given this is the best photo they could come up with to be on their website:

Once a sentinel of consumerism. Now, just a dead mall.

Trashed!

Back during our snow storms in Feb there was a fire in a closed business there. It caused Del City/MWC fire some problems. They had to chop holes in the skylights even for ventilation. Lots of water flooding from sprinklers going off. Heard all this on my scanner. Sounded like a real mess.

Sounds awful. I wonder why a fire would break out in a building which has been closed a year?

I kind of got the impression somebody broke in and perhaps they started it.

Makes sense. If it was during the extreme cold, someone might have broken in, gone deep into the structure to escape the cold and started a fire for warmth and it got out of control. There were always vagabonds in the vicinity when it was still open in 09'.

I never went into the mall when it was still open. Did it have a basement level, or was it all one story? I wonder what the future of HPM is? Will they demolish all but the Sears?

As far I remember it was one story. Future? You got me I have no clue.
Crossroads mall seems to be sliding the same direction.

I dined at the Whataburger a few times in the HPm parking lot. Interesting Whataburger. Pretty small and older looking (kind of like HPM :P)
