I'm looking into moving here, maybe (for work in Cushing). From what I can tell looking online, it appears to be a decent, hilly town. The crime rate is low and real estate is cheap for the most part. Any opinions on the town from those who have been there? What's the air quality and water quality like there?

Thanks!

I like Drumright. It has a good tech school, a decent grocery store, decent schools. a Sonic Drive in, A subway, and a couple of really good steak houses (Freddie's on the west of town and Joseph's on Highway 16 just south of town). A new smaller super Wal Mart is 5 miles west (in Cushing) there are several good cafe's in Cushing, as well as a good assortment of stores. You are close enough to commute to Tulsa (about 45 minutes) and not that far from OKC (about an hour) or Stillwater (about 20 minutes). Depending on the way the wind is blowing and who is doing what in the patch, you occasionally get the smell of sulfur. The water is pretty good.....and seems to be soft.
