Maps For Us

Well, Synopsis, I'm glad you brought this up. Our children are definitely in deep trouble when a lot of them can't even name their own state. And then we graduate them from our high schools. I don't know what my life would be like if I did not know how to read maps, but then, I wouldn't want to know. For me, it would be devastating. My whole life has been about reading maps and studying them. Our public schools and even our parents need to step up, kick it up a notch, and teach kids about the places in which they live.

Unbelievable. I never thought of that. I wonder if there's a cornbread line, too? I wonder what that would cover?

Power and knowledge builds the future of the south, such as South Africa, and US Americans can know where to find grits.
Whoops! Lassoed the wrong post earlier.

Wouldn't it be something to draw a map line where you can find one common food group for one common region? I bet we could come up with many.

I love the grits line case, and the accentless zone too Peggy! This is still hilarious, even after all of these weeks/months.

Thanks, Synopsis. I am always on the lookout now for funny maps. I forgot to say I got this from a post by Colts on the General US forum.

I like to visit the nostril area whilst on vacation. The tip of the nose offers great fishing, but the best place for hunting snipes is the chinny-chin-chin.

The Kingdom of Pinnochio?

Actually, you have Peggy to thank for the grits line -- I only commented on it. That's just being fair. But, hey, thanks for the thought.

ROFL!! Real hard, too. Very good post, Redbird.

Not to outdo you or anything, but I think I see the shapes of two ducks coming off from the peninsulas!
