We are looking at buying a house in Yale (within the next month) and was wondering what the town was like. How's the school? How's the job market in like construction, remodeling, painting and stuff like that or even automotive. Any info would be appreciated.... Thanks in advance.

You go through the town of Yale when going to Stillwater from Tulsa on highway 51. It's a very small town! I doubt if there are many employment opportunities there. Sorry I don't know much about the town, just driving through it though, there isn't much there.

There isn't much there but it is within fairly easy commuting distance from Tulsa and other larger towns/city.

Yale has a wonderful FFA program and looks like a nice town to live.

Like Drumright, Yale has a long dip running through it.

Wink I know this is late but...

I just wanted to say, I grew up in Yale, it was a nice place at the time...things have obviously changed, but all in all it is still the same place. Small town, not much to do, but Tulsa & Stillwater aren't far away for jobs, shopping and fun things to do. The schools are OK, not fantastic, but not bad either. Property is cheap there and readily available...just don't plan on things growing around there...the older people stop progress dead in its tracks...hope you found a good place to live...take care!
