Hello, couple of questions, I will be moving to The Renaissance at Norman in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if that area is safe, it will be me and my fiancee that are moving and it will be a ground level.

Second question, what can I expect for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment in terms of water/electricity.

Hello that complex is fairly new so air conditioning should be pretty up to date and efficient. I would estimate electric in the summer to run $100.00- 130.00 depending on how cold you keep it. The city water bill has trash, sewer and water on it. I don't know how that complexes trash is handled dumpsters probably. $30.00 or so that is about what the water bills run on our 2 bdrm 1 bath duplexes.

Hello! I am really happy to actually get a reply on this haha, the trash is paid for by the complex so I think your right that it's just dumpsters or something along those lines. We have a first floor so it should be colder in the summer and colder in the winter, but from what I have heard it's pretty insulated and we have a new fireplace so it shouldn't be too drafty. Also, since you know the area (or at least of it) do you know how safe that area is?

That part of town doesn't seem to have any major problems with crime. I listen to police and fire scanners a lot and I don't hear much from that complex. It is kind of on the edge of Norman so not a lot of population right around it.
