Of course, the air is better than in CA. It's almost as hot as Texas, since it's so close to there. Ticks may be bad in the country, but not so in the city. If you have lung problems, don't live in the country where the pollen is thicker. But don't really know what you mean by lung problems, especially, if you don't mean allergy or asthma related.

That depends. Hotter than where in CA?
As for allergies, it all depends on what you are allergic to.

There are chiggers where ever grass grows. Walk in grass in your shorts. Chiggers get on your skin and you have to itch. There are scorpions, but they're not all over the place. Cockroaches are a greater nuisance in Oklahoma. Why do you ask? Do you come from the desert or where there are no pests?

The Chiggers ,I thought they were only in tall grass areas ... =/ Not good for someone who is alergic to so many bugs then ? I mean will you get bitten by any of those just sitting on your porch? Do people get bit often?Because that is how alot of people make it seem.&That worries me abit.

It's probably best if you stay where you are. I grew up in a town 25 miles from Ardmore. Never heard of anyone having to deal with ticks. Seventeen states do not have chiggers. Scorpions and tarantulas are in Oklahoma, but, I've only seen a scorpion once and a tarantula twice and not in a residence. I do hear people complain about allergies.
