We will be driving through Moore Saturday and would like to help with some supplies in anyway. What all does anyone know that they may need? Water, blankets, clothes, teddy bears, etc. etc. Also if anyone knows where we could drop them off in the city that would be helpful as well. Thanks in advance for any information you all can relay!

Here is a list of drop off points as well as what is needed:

It is great that you want to donate; however, at this point, the best thing one can do is stay out of the city of Moore right now. They are having a difficult time getting in supplies/volunteers, etc. do to the ridiculous amount of traffic going through the town. It would be best to try and go to one of the several drop off points in Norman or OKC.

Thank you, and God Bless.

Thanks for the information. We have no problem dropping off the supplies outside of Moore. Unfortunately will we still need to travel somewhat through the city as we will be taking 35 to Edmond.

Luckily we've had a decent response to a simple facebook post I made and have a few people willing to contribute money. Does anyone know if any local hardware stores(Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, etc.) are giving discounts on gift cards so we can get more bang for the buck to the people in Moore. Thanks again for the info!

I can't say specifically, but I wouldn't think so. For the record, both Lowes and Home Depot have made very large contributions to this effort, so I am not being critical of them. But a few of the organizations are asking for tools, so if you decide to purchase them maybe float it by whatever individual store for a possible discount. The worst they can say is no.
