A month from now I'm headed to Miami for my 50th high school reunion . We'll be flying from Seattle but don't know which destination airport we should use - Tulsa or Joplin. I can find the driving distances, airline and rental car choices, etc. but I wonder if there are any other things I should consider in choosing. Thanks.

I would look at the cost difference of the two as well as the flight times. If all other things are equal, I can't imagine not flying to Joplin. If its much cheaper to fly to Tulsa, and you can get better flight times, I'd go Tulsa.

My son attended the University of Arkansas, and most people he knew there chose to drive to Tulsa, about 1.5-2 hours away because it was so much cheaper and had much better flights than flying out of Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport which wasn't but about 20 minutes away. Sure you could get an an American flight from NWA but it outrageous.

TULSA!... Far cheaper. It's a nice airport and to boot, just get on I-44 head northeast for a little more than hour and your there.

BTW: Love your city and state! I'm on your Washington state and Seattle portion of CD frequently. Make sure you get to Grand Lake at least once while your here in OK. real beautiful there.. by Oklahoma standards. Hope you have a great trip.

Tulsa! It isn't that far to Miami from Tulsa.
