Ordinarily, my neighborhood is quiet and uneventful, but, this afternoon when I opened my front door to see if the mail had been delivered, I noticed a police car parked just past a house across from my next door neighbor, but, farther down from exactly across. Then a policeman walking on the lawn of that house, holding something black, but, I couldn't tell if it was a gun. It must have been, because a man standing against the side of that house stayed where he was. When the policeman reached him there was a struggle and all I could see was the policeman dropping to the ground with the other man underneath.

Another policeman was running toward them and they soon stood up, but, I still couldn't see the captive. Another man was directly across the street from me doing yardwork and he was staying near the altercation as possible, running the weedeater.

Police cars kept arriving until there were six. All the excitement in town on my street! Finally they walked the captive to the first police car. He seemed to be wearing a sloppy dark grey long sleeve top and same color pants.

3 policemen came back to the house where the man was captured, but, no one is home. They stood on the porch for awhile and I came on in here. Now, about 20 minutes later, everyone has left.

The only reason I was at the front door in the first place is I'm looking for a package. According to the tracking service, it arrived in town yesterday, so, where is it? Mail has run, yesterday and today. No package. grrrr
