I had to resign because I just don't have the time. It is very time consuming to be a mod. Not to mention putting up with all the rude DMs people send just because they get a <mod cut>.

It was fun in a lot of ways. I made many new friends, but it was seriously interfering with my hermit lifestyle.

Here is the website in case others are curious about the festival.

Red Earth Festival - Red Earth Museum

Remember parking is $5 under the Cox Convention Center. We usually pay it because I don't like for Don to walk too far. Its free to park on the street, but then you have to walk to the event.

Well, if there's one thing we do not want to interfere with, it's your right to hermitcy.

I never thought about going that route

Peggy, everyone needs their own space, but you'll be around. I hope resigning gives you at least some of the relief your looking for

Being a mod doesn't need to mean that you have to restructure your life. When I signed up, I was not asked to "surrender" my life, I was asked to do my usual thing, but in addition look out for the unruly posts.

I do look out for these things, but I don't let it affect my personal life.

Peggy, you were a great mod. For some people it isn't the "thing." If I'm ever asked to forfeit my regular life to be a moderator, I'll be back in a regular CD citizen outfit again..

There are LOTS of CD forums he could moderate,
but either way, he should lose his Texan ways...

How does he find out about it. He isn't a true Texan as he has only been there 4 years, and studies cities all the time is facisnated.
