DOH!!! Yeah, I meant in Miami, no, I meant those durn gators. Actually, the more I think about it, the more ticked off I get, because I was actually starting to like the Sooners.

BTW, Seabee, Coach Stoops received a bonus of $3 million for making it to the BCS Championship. I don't have a source for that number, but I don't doubt it.

Synopsis, LOL! HEY! I liked Marv Levy!!! He was a great coach.

FutureCntryBumpkin, that was hilarious, the dancing wigged out coaches waving their arms about like a bunch of idiots in a MAD magazine skit!! That was funny!!!

Now we know why the entire OU football team kept staring over at the sidelines. It was hysterical!

I liked Levy too. Too bad he couldn't win the big one, much like Stoops.

"Big Game Bob" is no longer a big gamer, he can't seem to coach his team in big games.

If I were the AD at Oklahoma, I'd definitely keep him around though. 10 and 11 win seasons are good, even if you can't win a single bowl game post 2000.

The Sooners SUCK in post-season!

What a cute little coach you have there.

OklaTravelNet

I was just browsing around to see what entertainment we have at a nearby casino. One of them is called "Royal River" and the link above popped up when I was looking. It is really cool and I figured since most of you live there, you probably don't search for OK travel sites.

I'd have to disagree, Synopse, and it's because Stoops has won the Big One; it's just been a few years, that's all. And the national championship is so hard to achieve, so you think about what it takes to win the thing. And the Big 12 has great coaches: Stoops, Mack Brown, Mike Leach, Mike Gundy, Art Briles, Mark Mangino, Gary Pinkel, and Bill Snyder. That's an enviable collection if you ask me. This year, Florida was just better. But what a great Big 12 South division we had.

Jammie, thanks for posting that. I had seen that video before, but forgot about it. It makes you remember what a beautiful state OK is!

Hello, I'm new here and from Oklahoma as well. I was born in McAlester but grew up in a small town called Canadian.
