^ I'm very anxious to learn which town you are referring to because I grew up in far southeastern Oklahoma, Bethel and Wright City to be exact. I later moved to Durant from where I graduated high school. I now live in Norman and visit Durant and the rest of southeastern Oklahoma often.

Indeed, Bryan County was added to the Dallas-Fort Worth CSA back in early 2013.

An aunt and family lived in wright city. I don't remember her name but believe she ran the small post office there, she has passed but believe her family still is there. My dad ran the music store in Durant! It's a great place to be
from!

And the county Durant is in still isn't clinging to backward alcohol laws, like around 24 Oklahoma counties are doing. Liquor by the drink is legal there even on Sundays and Christmas day. That is even being a bit more advanced than Stillwater where liquor by the drink is legal, except on Christmas day. It doesn't matter much, since it's hard to find a restaurant open on Christmas day that serves drinks stronger than 3.2% beer.

Tue, the restaurant scene and motel options are significant because of the casino. Some restaurants have very good wine lot the glass as well. I hardly believe it's in Oklahoma.

If Durant doesn't look like SE OK, for those seeing this way, what part of Oklahoma does Durant resemble most? It has been a while since I visited other parts of SE Ok. I've been in north central around okc and Stillwater and up I35 all the way into Kansas and on I40 west to Texas and do not find those parts similar. I drove through SW Ok from I40 down to near Vernon and was surprised by that area but did not find it like Durant.
