All the young songbirds in Oklahoma are suffering and perishing because, not only are the storms and record rainfall
brutalizing the young birds, the parent birds are unable to find them food.
The Oklahoma storms have washed the insects and caterpillars into the rivers and lakes.
It will be a good year for all the fish, not so much for the birds.
This couldn't have happened at a worse time for them.
The whole month of May has been a disaster for baby birds as they are just leaving the nests.
We are faced with losing an entire generation of birds.
The wonderful people at Rainbow Mealworm Co. have donated 10,000 mealworms to us at RNWPHOTO.NET
so we can feed as many young birds as we can.
They need all the help they can get.
