As of today, April 1st, researchers are still trying to determine the range of the spider, but preliminary reports say the following map represents the possible habitat of Ungoliantitis. Scientists are asking anyone who encounters one of these arachnids to report the sighting to the Unified Spider Registry to help map the expansion and range of the species.

I haven't seen any flying ones yet, but if there are such things as flying spiders they'd be in Oklahoma for sure.

True story: Last night I go to turn off the light on the nightstand and a dayum Fiddleback crawls right by my hand and down the side of the nightstand.

I turned the bedroom upside down....didn't find it, of course. I told the wife to call the exterminator knowing full well he has nothing that will kill the Fiddleback nest in my attic, but perhaps by killing off their foodsource they'll move on to the neighbor's house.
