Recently announced is this 300 job adds to Durant. Durant won this over all the neighboring states and several Oklahoma towns. This on top of the Choctaw casino expansion adding 1000 new jobs, Durant is really on a roll.

That's great. Maybe more people will be asking about Durant, rather than about some sorry Oklahoma town going downhill.

It's the largest new investment in an Oklahoma location in several years. Also,it's located east of durant while the casino is south and Cardinal glass is west all on or near the bypass that circles durant. It is a big positive for Oklahoma and the city. Location near DFW Texas was a big reason they were locating in this part of the country.

Probably in part because the Dallas-Ft. Worth airport flies to many non-stop international destinations. Growing companies wanna go global.
