Our house in Mustang closed today. I'm so excited. Right now we plan to come down at the end of February, but my son hit us with a little kink today, which may change our plans a bit. He's in a program at the community college to study for his GED. Once he passes the test he will get an actual diploma from the State Board of Education. He found out today the test isn't until March or April. He doesn't want to stay here alone, and dh is planning on giving his notice next week so he can get down to OK and land a job. Anna's chomping at the bit to leave her school. I'm still out on disability with my fractured wrist. Oh, boy, trying to get it all coordinated is starting to be a nightmare.

But -- we're very excited about our soon-to-be (we hope) move.

BTW - does anyone know if OK has the same program like NJ - where you go through a program and when you take the GED, you get an actual diploma?

Congrats! Yes, Oklahoma has the same program for a GED. I believe that is nationwide. Your son could do that in Oklahoma and you could be there sooner.
