All finished with the details of donating my body to the medical school in OKC. I asked my two younguns if it was all right with them and they said yes, so it's done. Have you considered such a thing? There are a few caveats they won't accept such as being obese, having a contagious illness such as HIV and several others I've never heard of.

Got the idea when I recently learned from one of my bridge partners that she and her late husband participated in the program. It seemed like a good idea to me, so I contacted the school by calling the number listed in the website for the willed body program. They responded in about a week and sent me the instructions.

When they are through with the body they cremate and would send the ashes to someone I designate or sprinkle them on their grounds. I chose the latter as I see no need to be parked on someone's mantel.
