Always looking for lake retirement

Searching Lake eufaula homes, seems a lot of them according to picture, have a dock that extends into a sand bar or swamp. Is the water low this year, or is it always low.

Current readings show that Eufaula Lake is nearly a foot above normal.

Prior to the extended rain last May and June, all Oklahoma lakes levels were down.

The Marina been under water it seems the last year and I am not sure what it would look like now. Let us know how your trip was. I am 30 miles west of McAlester the lake has been on our mind too. I look at homes a few years ago. There seemed to me to be too extremes. One very expensive live in all year and then the vacation homes look horrible like maybe your neighbor is selling meth type of place. I've thought about a cruiser parked at the marina in order to get away when we want.

I was in Longtown in late January and one of the ramps to the docks was completely submerged. Water levels are still quite high I think.
