Hi. I am from Connecticut and last week I was in eastern Oklahoma. I went to Dripping Springs (Natural Falls) and thought it was nice. Then I went down to Poteau, had lunch and then went to the Ouchita National Forest area and drove along the byway. I LOVED it! It was just so beautiful and relaxing. I think OK scenery is very underrated.

I agree! I was born and raised here. I've traveled all over and while there are certainly places that are more scenic, I think Oklahoma is gorgeous. Glad you enjoyed your time here.

We like to take a drive in the fall. Eastern Oklahoma is nice. I grew up on the western side and am partial to the plains.

I visited recently from Pittsburgh PA. I have friends in Noble who took me all over the place. We were horseback riding at Lake Thunderbird one day, climbing mountains at the Wichita Mountain national wildlife reserve, swimming in the Sulphur spring at Chickasaw national recreation area and then finishing with an amazing sunset trail ride in the canyon at Roman Nose state park.

Yes. We used to take the Talihina drive every fall. It's beautiful. Doesn't "look" like Oklahoma at all.
