Perhaps God is not happy about the predominant Evangelical Christian religious values that run the place?

We can never know for sure considering so many gays have not come out in this environment

Why should anybody run things? How about live and let live? Why are some people so concerned with what goes on in other people's bedroom?

That's the thing. In a place like OKC you never will know how many people are actually LGBT because its so difficult to be out of the closet here. Here there are a lot of closeted, married gays trolling places like Craigslist. The environment here is similar to how it was nationally back in the 80s. In more LGBT-accepting areas, you see a lot less of this in 2016.

I was talking about the general United States of America population = 2% Gays.

Gays in Oklahoma probably are .02% of general population , because Gays aren't going to put up with oppression in 2016 by moving to Oklahoma. No one run the bedrooms of Gays (but) Gays this is 2016.

I was a African American that left Oklahoma in the mid 1970'S because it was backward and racist. If Oklahoma is a horror for (Gays life) life is too short to just stay there and grin and bear it.

I'm bi and out and have never had a problem living here in OKC. I know two others that live just in my building, and another that lives next door on one side, and a gay couple that lives next door on the other side, and several more gay people and couples in my neighborhood, adjacent to a huge church, mind you. I often see gay couples out for a walk while I'm out jogging and have gotten acquainted with them.

We never have any problems either. And we know a LOT of older gay couples. I don't know one person trolling craigslist.

If bawac thinks the 80s was a bad time for gays, you obviously never lived in the 50s and early 60s ANYWHERE in America.

Sorry to disappoint, but our life is not a horror. That is too funny. However, when I was in college in the 90s, someone burned a cross in KS.

There will always be racist people, both in public and on CD.

^ To add, it seems that many people forget that OKC has an annual pride festival. This year's festival had over 80,000 in attendance, up from last year's 70,000. I think that's worth a lot.
