I am a Nebraska Husker fan. I was rooting for OU to win last night so our Huskers could play them in the Big 12 final next week. I think the OU/OSU game last night was one of the most exciting football games I have ever seen. The OSU player that deflected the ball from several yards out of bounds while in the air was one of the most fantastic athletic plays I have ever seen in ANY sport. Then the long return by OSU right after the touchdown that OU made. Damn what a game!

I am going to miss Nebraska not being in the Big 12. In the past fifty years Nebraska has had some fantastic teams but High School players from Texas and Oklahoma (and a few other states) have been a huge part of NUs success. It boggles the mind to think how Texas and Oklahoma could dominate college football if they only had one major University in each state playing football. I just hope Nebraska can still recruit some of their boys when we move to the Big Ten. We have some great talent at the High School level in Nebraska but without the Texas and Oklahoma boys to fill the roster we would be second rate for sure.

Good luck to all of you Sooners this evening. I will be rooting for my Cornhuskers even though I think OU will probably win by a couple points. I just hope the game is as exciting as the OU/OSU game was last week. I have always thought the Oklahoma schools were a class act. I am going to miss the rivalry that Nebraska has had with the Big8 and Big 12 teams over the years. Hopefully my Huskers can meet one of the Oklahoma or Texas teams in BCS bowl games in the future.
