Oklahomans are in the upper half of Americans in terms of obesity prevalence, and the state is the 5th most obese in the nation, with 30.3 percent of its population at or near obesity.[213] Oklahoma ranked last among the 50 states in a 2007 study by the Commonwealth Fund on health care performance.[214.
Any Okies care to explain? That's HUGE (no pun intended)!

Because, according to Oklahomans, "if it ain't fried it ain't food"

I spend a lot of time on the road for my work and it is impossible, especially in rural areas, to find food that is healthy. Even the salads, if you can find them, are made with iceberg lettuce which has 0 nutritional value.

Nothing like a good fat shaming to start the first full week of Autumn.

Oklahomans don't live in the middle of all out gorgeous scenery. If I lived in Colorado Springs, I would have conquered Pikes Peak several times, gone to numerous walks to the Garden of the Gods and to the Seven Falls for starters. And possibly would have taken up skiing.

The fast food chicken places do well, because they offer french fries but not mashed potatoes with gravy. I'd prefer the latter. But Grandy's went out of business here long ago.

Let me know when you are coming our way. Home made mashed taters with butter, half and half and nutmeg. Leftovers made the best cinnamon rolls you will have to settle for baked chicken with fresh bread crumbs as I do not deep fry; never got the hang of it. Plenty of gravy as I hang onto bacon bits and pan drippings.

Let's expand our "personalities" and enjoy doing so. After all Wiki is always right.
