There used to be a weather thread.

It smelled like bad BBQ when we got out of the hot tub. A few minutes later street lights came on. The neighborhood seems to be engulfed in fog - not fog - smoke!!!! And we are in Mustang. It took us a few minutes to close Windows - burning eyes, difficulty breathing. The house smells like my MIL cooked.

Please keep an eye on neighbors and family. Anyone with respiratory issues - be aware!!!!

Fires are 80 miles NW and we see ashes.

It used to be March that is partly schitzo, now it looks more and more like we'll have Winter weather in July!

The rain doused our fire danger. At least for a week or so!

Schizo-weather, I like that term.

Thats a good one!

What is annoying is when its cold and i have on coat and hat inside, and the temp inside is just shy of what the heater considers when I turn on.... and when its lit it stays on for a short while and then out. When its cold the heat comes on and stays on and its comfortable inside without three layers and fluffy socks. When it goes on and off it never quite gets warm enough.

It does teach you to keep an assortment of clothes handy which can be worn and taken off or put on as needed. Until its sure its summer I'm keeping the supply handy.

There is one thing I miss from the house we had out in socal. Yes, it does get truely cold there in the winter, and central heating is a wonderful thing but would probably cost the cost of the house to put it in my 1931 house.
