Have a safe trip and keep an eye on the weather... if you see any
funny looking dark clouds that seem to be touching the ground, pull into the nearest Stuckey's and wait till it passes.

My family made the OK/CA trip about 2 dozen times in my life. We used to take the old Route 66 before any of us knew it was famous. Lots and lots of memories there.
