I just moved to Oklahoma, so I'm not familiar with all the laws yet, so I'm wondering how to sell a car. Here's the highlight's ....

1. Bought a cheap, 2008 Chevy impala, doors damaged, no radio, high miles, etc, but runs and drives

2. I asked repeatedly about the buying process from the seller, such as : Bill of sale, notary required, license plates, etc. Seller told me "Everythings good, just sign title, no bill of sale needed, and go license it within 30 days"

3. I find out a day later, that you do need to have the title notarized by seller, which it's not.

4. I don't like the car, and want to sell it

5. I don't have another car and am not sure I will be buying another anytime soon

Question 1: Can I just get a new title to sell car?

Question 2: Do I have to get it licensed or tagged before I can sell it?

Question 3: Could I sell it without a title?

Question 4: How much trouble am I in since it's not notorized or don't have any bill of sale?

Question 5: Any other ideas on what to do with the car to get any part of my money back?

I moved here from Nebraska, our laws are very different than Oklahoma on vehicle sales.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you!!

Never mind... Found out that EVERYONE in Oklahoma either thinks everyone else is a crook or they are one themselves. Talk about trust issues! I went and got the car all legal, tags and everything, and just sold the car. And now, since apparently there are no jobs, because no one called me back on any of the 22 job apps I filled out, there is apparently a housing shortage for anyone that has a pet, and one cannot live without air conditioning in this state, I'm moving back to Nebraska. Didn't like it there, but at least I wasn't sweating to death and I can buy a car there faster and easier. Still might be homeless and jobless, but meh... Oh well.

You'll just be complaining of freezing to death soon. Recently the temperature got down to the 30s in northern Nebraska. I can't imagine the 30s in Oklahoma in September. On the plus side, at least the minimum wage is higher in Nebraska than it is in Oklahoma.
