Really wonderful pics, LR. I'll post a link on the PCS to Lawton thread, if you haven't already.

Everything looks so green and nice, and the areas are growing so much. So many new houses being built. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome pics, LR. You have a very nice camera and a good eye.

Your "Just WOW" pic of the architecture could have been a contender in the CDF Photography contest.

Can you get one of a tornado for us? Aw, come on! Be a sport! You can take MK to jump out and pose holding on to a tree or something.

Absolutely terriffic pictures, LadyRobyn, I really enjoyed them. They just look like "home" to me, even though I've never been there. Call me weird, but I LOVE the rolling, green, semi-flat land, wide open with nothing to block your view. I am SO tired of looking at these big, monstrous, obtrusive, massive snow capped mountains out here in Montana. They're EVERYWHERE, including right outside my front door (don't have a digital camera, or I'd post some pictures). Everyone out here thinks they're so "scenic", but I feel penned in by them, and find them somehow "suffocating". It's all in what you prefer, I guess.

This forum has got to have the best "picture takers" of all the states on City-Data.

Our friend from West Texas says the exact same thing about being surrounded by mountains once she moved from the panhandle of Texas. They say you can see for a 100 miles in West Texas, and if you stand on a phone book, you can see for another 100 miles.

That's interesting redbird, t's good to know I'm NOT the only one who feels that way. Perhaps I'm not as weird as I thought I was!
