It would be interesting if someone could contact their state representative's offices tomorrow for additional info. If this is legit, Oklahoma rocks! It may be symbolic, but other states may follow suit. Wouldn't that put some spice into the upcoming election?

I'm sick to death of government taking my money (before I even see it), and giving it away to losers with their hands out. In NJ they call it "feeding at the trough."

It is legitimate colleen. Right now it's in the Senate awaiting a second reading from them.

If you go to the following link and enter HJR1089 in the "Basic Search Form" you'll get the following:

Synopsis. If it's alright with you, I,m going to pass this question (your first link) on to another political/Immigration forum and see if someone there can find out any authenticity to this.

This forum, Illegal Immigration ALIPAC (broken link) has some very strong politically minded members who spend most of their free time keeping updated, including the founder of ALIPAC, William Gheen, he worked for the Gov, of South Carolina.

I'll post the link to that thread thread back here and we can watch it from here.
