Yes, Grolsh is sold in Oklahoma. If you're in Oklahoma City, go to Cellar Wine and Spirits Super Store. Grolsch will be on the back wall shelf toward the right side of the beer display... unless they rearranged since I last visited in April.

I have not seen it in liquor stores, but its available in TX. Other good beers I haven't found in OK...HopDevil, DogFishHead 90 minute ale, 90 Schilling ale.

New Belgium Brewing (http://www.newbelgium.com/index.php - broken link) for da fat tire

Any Shiner Bock fans? That could possibly be the most delicious beer known to man...hate that I have to go to the liquor store to get it though, our liquor laws are pretty prehistoric.

You can get 3.2 Shiner Bock at larger Grocery stores. If you want their double Bock or Bavarian you have to go to the liquor sore.

Thats good beer! I was hoping to bribe someone to make a side trip to Shiner after the UT/OSU game last week, but found no takers.

Following earlier post, I did see Grolsh in OK at a liquor store.

From what I've heard, New Belgium refuses to ship to Oklahoma, because strong beer can't be shipped cold into the state. They worry that this will affect the taste of Fat Tire, and refuse to sell anything.

Good thing that New Belgium definitely isn't one of those 'gotta have it' brands.

I know of good liquor stores in OK that carry Fat Tire and Grolsch and just about any other beer. Find a good liquor store and they will try to order it for you if they don't have it. Still sucks.

Being able to buy real beer in grocery stores cold in OK is a long ways off imo. Practically no hope because the businesses don't want it. You would have to change not only the 3.2 laws but several other laws that were written dealing with alcoholic beverages because 3.2 isnt considered an "alcoholic beverage" by definition in Oklahoma. 1 biggie would be chain distribution of liquor laws.

Now before you run out and start driving around drinking 3.2 beer thinking that its all cool because its non-alcoholic by definition, they passed a law specifically saying you can't be carting around open containers of 3.2 beer. Wierd enough the fine for transporting an open container of "non-alcoholic" 3.2 beer is more than the fine for transporting an open container of Jim Beam. The first is "Transporting open container of non-alcoholic beverage" and the second is "Transporting an open container of an alcoholic beverage".
