I recently got a new job in Woodward, OK. My wife and I are having a very hard time finding a place to live. Can anyone put me in touch with someone that can help me find a place to rent?

Contact any local real estate offices. A lot of them also do property management, even if they don't advertise it.

Did anyone find any rentals in Woodward, OK. I might be offered a job in the following weeks and I just can not seem to find any rentals for a family. I will need at least a 3 bedroom. I have also gotten a hold of real estate/property management and there is nothing available at the moment. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My husband and I are moving to Woodward March 11th because my parents live there, and we are taking a trip up there for the weekend so we look for a place. Unable to find anything online, everywhere we look it says we're sorry nothing available at this time. So because of this we're taking a weekend trip to personally look. It might be the only way you will be able to find anything. Good Luck to you all.

My gosh, I'm shocked that there are this many jobs in Woodward! It's an itsy bitsy town with nothing there. I don't even think they have a movie theater! I guess they do have some oil related companies there, but I didn't think there were any openings. From what I've heard, it's a depressing place to live because it has a high poverty rate. That's just what I've heard from people who have lived there and moved.

I don't think Woodward is one of those Oklahoma towns that should be talked down much. At over 12,000 in population, that's a big town for northwestern Oklahoma. It has 3 movie screens. And it's no more poor than a lot of other Oklahoma towns. I've driven through there a few times and don't recall seeing much poverty, but then I wasn't looking for any.

The reason they're having a hard time finding a place to live is because the motorcycle manufacturing company is always hiring for qualified personnel. Covington Cycle City is the name. I wouldn't mind working for them as a machinist if they had openings.
