I saw a FEMA official in DC being interviewed by a local TV anchor today. Don't know what he said, I wasn't paying that much attention.

We use our boats year round, unlike in the great white north where you live! Why do you even have boats in Ohio, the ice is gone only 1 month out of the year in your crappy rust belt state!

Don't you know, we have the largest mud puddle in the country here, "Lake Erie" the name should be a dead give away .

I don't know why anyone would want a boat up here myself, with the coast of everything, ie. fuel, up-keep, off season storage, insurance, docking cost and the time to just play with it. Way over rated as far as I'm concerned.

Yep! Fires out and has been since the "70's" . And actually they have a new visitor to the lake called a Zebra Muscle. At first they were calling it a big problem because they attach themselves to anything and everything. Then they found out the the little buggers thrieve off the pollutions in the water, each muscle filters a quart of water each day by its self. And the walleyes (fish) are thrieving off of them. Win Win.
