I saw the marina on tv, gosh...the snow load was so heavy it was sinking the docks and the boats along with them. Just awful.

I hate to say this, but up here in Ohio we smart enough to get our boats out of the water before winter.

We use our boats year round, unlike in the great white north where you live! Why do you even have boats in Ohio, the ice is gone only 1 month out of the year in your crappy rust belt state!

Way over rated as far as I'm concerned. 
. And actually they have a new visitor to the lake called a Zebra Muscle. At first they were calling it a big problem because they attach themselves to anything and everything. Then they found out the the little buggers thrieve off the pollutions in the water, each muscle filters a quart of water each day by its self. And the walleyes (fish) are thrieving off of them. Win Win.
