It seems that everyone (except for me.....knock on wood) is catching the cold or flu.

For those who don't already know:

Turn your water faucets on to a "slow drip" to prevent freezing.

#1 Oklahoma is NOT "middle America" We are a blend of Native Americans and Sooners.........
#2 We don't do "bi racial" we are multi-racial. I'm a mix of Irish, Swiss, Welch, Cherokee, and Polynesian.

I don't care where you are from, if you have the attitude that you are somehow better or worse than everyone else you won't get along here. If you smile, contribute, help, and mind your own business unless you see someone in trouble you will get along fine. We went through the race riots almost a hundred years ago. We got over that nonsense. Most Okies really do judge a person by their character, not their color.

Well, FED2011, You heard em'.

If "race" is an issue for you, it's best you leave it in NYC,
or just keep it to your self.
You'll find that you'll get along much better in OK. that way.

Good answer, GP. Who cares about the amount of melanin under your skin anyways?

Geez, get over it already!

Default Need help.

Anybody from Lawton around? This is kind of urgent. Trying to locate Richard Holland lived in Lawton 1965-67 or longer. Worked in a TV repair store on SW Lee Blvd (?) Had been in the army before '66. Had a married sister who lived in Anadarko. His wife's name was Thelma but they were separated and probably divorced in '67.
