Hey all. I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd just say hi to everyone. I've been working a lot, dealing with some stuff, and just been tired the rest of the time and not really had the energy to make a coherent post. lol

I hope everyone's doing awesome.

OH, and my request off work was approved, so who all am I gonna see on Saturday!?

Well...you shouldn't sit in your front yard all day taking picture of "Turkey Vultures" circling over head,

Turkey Vultures won't circle a live person or animal.

It is only after something dies that they will circle around

It was an epiphany for me when I realized how vultures could see if an animal was dead or alive from a long ways off......but each life form has an aura.......an electromagnetic field. When there is one bright field, the birds know there is a strong life force and to stay away. When that life force dims, they can see that and they know death is near. When the life force of the animal goes out, and the life forces of the bacteria decomposing the body brighten, it looks like twinkling lights, the vulture knows the animal is dead...........so she can't lay out in the sun and wait for them to come close................it doesn't work based on movement..............

...........
Well MK was sitting next to me in a lawn chair...

And I was snapping pics of the Mississippi Kites.

There was a Turkey Vulture but he was too high to get a decent pic... I WISH I had gotten a shot when all 5 Kites flew over at once, THAT was rare!!!
